What we are looking for

An agile, energetic and motivated Laboratory Technician who has excellent customer focus, attention to detail and passion for delivering outstanding service to scientific groups.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manufacture of media, broths, sterile supplies, and hormone stocks for use in plates and bottled media products
  • Responsible for glassware collection, wash from laboratories and return and restock
  • Collect waste and process using the correct waste streams
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and labelling
  • Execute routine laboratory support procedures and preparations for scientific laboratories
  • Maintain reagent and consumable stock levels for laboratories
  • Assist with verification and maintenance of laboratory equipment


Key Skills & Experience


  • Organized, customer focused with a hands-on, proactive mindset
  • Attention to detail, neat and tidy worker
  • Ability to follow SOPs repeatedly to the correct standard


  • Experienced laboratory or media technician, ideally with an understanding of laboratory operations
  • Experience working with Lean Six Sigma and Kanban stock systems
  • Biological degree or equivalent experience
